This is the youngest School at the university.
It was established in 2001 on the basis of the School of Western European Languages Its establishment is conditioned by labour-market needs for new specialists.
The School trains specialists in intercultural communication for economic and cultural entities actively cooperating with foreign partners. This activity requires both a good command of foreign languages and possession of professional skills in applying current technologies of communication in various spheres: politics, economics, information, etc.
In the process of studies great attention is paid to the acquaintance with the national traditions and peculiarities of everyday and professional etiquette, with the mentality of other nations.

English, German, French and Spanish are taught as the major foreign languages and English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic as the second foreign languages are taught at the School of International Communication at present. It is possible to open up new vistas for providing a wider range of foreign languages taught.
